Mission Emmanuel Launch is Magical
International hero Emmanuel Yeboah returned to McDonogh on Friday, February 26 for the launch of Mission Emmanuel, an effort spearheaded by four seniors to ship a large crate of bikes and books to Ghana. Despite snow showers and high winds, Yeboah joined students as they loaded hundreds of bikes into a shipping container. Yeboah also told his inspirational story to lower and middle schoolers during assemblies, and participated in a Move-A-Thon with students in kindergarten through fourth grade.
The festivities were covered by The Baltimore Sun, The Owings Mills Times, and all four Baltimore television stations.
