Boys and Girls Lacrosse Ranked No.1
This has been a very exciting season for the McDonogh lacrosse program so far. As of this week, both boys and girls varsity lacrosse teams are ranked number one in Baltimore. For the boys, this is the first time since 2005.
"In my 23 years, I can't remember a time when our girls and boys lacrosse teams were number one in the same season. This remarkable achievement is a testimony to the coaches and student athletes who have committed themselves to winning their respective championships,” said Co-Director of Athletics Mickey Deegan. “These teams have great senior leaders and they have set the bar high and demonstrate heart, hustle, and unselfishness."
Both teams have secured a spot in the playoffs, which start May 6 for the girls and May 13 for the boys.
