Here comes the dirt
Here comes the dirt. Dump trucks are making the rounds up Woods Road today, depositing topsoil for construction projects to come.
BGE has been at work, too, moving a last utility pole before McDonogh Road widening can begin. Look for this to happen as soon as BGE is finished its utility work.
The pad and turf are here, ready for installation sometime this week. Infrastructure for utilities is being installed with the hope that additional donors will come forward to pay for a scoreboard and lights.
The lower school playground is almost ready for turf. Look for the pad and green to be installed there in mid-August.
The two houses across from the dining hall will be demolished as soon as the county issues approval. The land around them has been cleared.
Daily watering will keep the dust down as long as the weather stays dry.
