Join Us April 30 for Potato Planting
Sign up and join us for the third annual potato planting at McDonogh Roots, Saturday, April 30 at noon At least 40 volunteers are needed to drop seed potatoes in the community plot.
Enter the farm site using the gate by the Keelty building, and turn left on Barn Hill Road. The Roots plot is past the climbing wall and the ropes course, on your right.
Later in the spring, we will be planting tomatoes, onions, green beans, peppers, and pumpkins.
Currently, McDonogh Roots does not own small gardening tools, gloves, etc. Please remember to bring your own, and to write your name on your equipment. Please also remember to bring drinking water to stay properly hydrated!
