While the winter season has concluded for some sports, the following varsity teams still have championship hopes. Come out and cheer them on!
Boys swim championships are at Loyola Blakefield on Saturday, February 12 at 4 p.m., and the Eagles will do their best to dethrown perennial champs Loyola.
Varsity wrestlers will compete in the two-day MIAA championships at Mt. St. Joe, February 11-12. They will face tough competition from Spalding's Cavaliers.
Varsity girls basketball (17-5) is having a super year. Three regular-season games are left before playoffs begin on February 15. The title game is Sunday, February 20 at Goucher College.
Varsity boys basketball is 16-6. The Eagles hope to make the MIAA playoffs as one of the top six teams in the A Conference. Championships will be held at UMBC on Sunday, February 20.
The varsity squash team (10-3) has had a great season and hopes to meet the Gilman Greyhounds in the title game during the week of February 14.
The fresh-soph boys basketball team (8-0) hopes to win the regular season title. Their season ends with a home game against Mt. St. Joe on Friday, February 11 at 4:15 p.m.
