Theatre Lab Presents Everyman

The McDonogh Theatre Lab is proud to present a production of the English Medieval masterpiece Everyman in Tagart Memorial Chapel at McDonogh on Friday and Saturday, October 28 and 29 at 7 p.m., and at the Second Presbyterian Church of Baltimore (4200 Saint Paul Street) on Sunday, October 30 at 5 p.m. Admission is free.

This production will be accompanied by members of the McDonogh Vocal Music Program, under the direction of Philip Olsen, singing period music by Thomas Tallis, John Dowland, and other composers of the late-medieval and early-modern period.

The allegorical drama, published in the early 16th century and deriving from the Dutch play, Elckerlijc, remains one of the most moving, timely works of drama from the period. Everyman, the story of an average, middle-aged man, follows the final hour of its main character's life on Earth.
