We Remember 9/11
"Like every American, I will never forget that day and the way that it changed my life and the lives of all Americans. Many times my parents were asked, “Where were you when JFK was killed?” The question for my generation is, “Where were you on September 11th?”
Margaret O'Meara '87 was in Hawaii that day, attending a conference. Among those due to arrive there, Margaret said, was Todd Beamer, whose "Let's roll" became the battle cry of doomed American Airlines Flight 93.
When Margaret returned home to her apartment in Jersey City, her bedroom's Manhattan view reminded her of all the country had lost on 9/11.
