Class of 2016 Bids Farewell to the Middle School
On Monday, June 4, the Class of 2016 met at Childs
Memorial
Terrace to celebrate their final reunion as middle
schoolers.
Friends, family, and teachers looked on with excitement
as
the soon-to-be graduates processed down the hill. Harry V.
chronicled how time has changed for his classmates over the
years in his speech. Bri H. inspired her
peers to grow together in the Upper School with the constant
refrain, "We can be like the McDonogh Oak."
Head of Middle School Darren Ford shared the advice of
his former student Gianni V. '13 with the rising freshmen,
offering tips on how to make the most of their upcoming
years in the Upper School.
Each student crossed the stage to receive a well-earned
diploma, and as the class rose to sing the Alma Mater with
the OnStage vocal group, they joined the ranks of upper
school students.
