Eagles Clinch Raymond B. Oliver Invitational Title
McDonogh wrestlers competed against some of the best Mid-Atlantic teams in the 41st annual Raymond B. Oliver Tournament
held
here on November 30 through December 2.
The Eagles won their second straight title, with Jack C. ’14, Toby H.
’14, and Tyler P. ‘13 placing first in their respective weight
class. In addition, T.K. M. '16, Logan M. '13, Myles M. '15, and Mike S. '15 came in second, and Sam M. '16 and Dan M. '13 captured third place.
The tournament is named in honor of former wrestler and
teacher-coach Ray Oliver '40, whose affiliation with the sport
spanned 67 years.
