Gospel Choir Concert Tonight
Joyful singing, clapping, and stomping will fill Tagart
Memorial Chapel during the 14th annual Gospel Choir Spring
Concert on Sunday, March 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. All are
welcome to attend this lively, musical event, directed by
Kaisha Askins Blackstone '98. A reception will be held in the
Lower School library
following the program.
The McDonogh Gospel Choir was founded by math teacher
Keisha Ashton as an Upper School extra curricular activity
in
1995. Over the years, the choir has embraced students,
faculty
and staff of all races, denominations, and ages to form a
sound
unique to McDonogh and a concert experience like none other.
