Join the March to Gilman on Saturday
Don your orange and black and come out for the 97th annual
McDonogh vs. Gilman Football Classic at Gilman School, 5407
Roland Avenue, on Saturday, October 27 at 1 p.m. Prior to
the game, history teacher Dave Harley will lead us all to
the Greyhounds' stadium in a magnificent spirit parade. Plan
to meet in the parking lot at Bryn Mawr School at 12:45 p.m.
to make the march. The Alumni Association will be handing
out McDonogh pennants.
This year, in addition to coming together for the game,
McDonogh and Gilman have joined forces to help area homeless
with a blanket drive. Both schools aim to collect 4,088
blankets, which represents the number of homeless people in
Baltimore. Please consider helping the students reach their
goal by bringing a blanket to the game. There will be two
collection sites: A McDonogh bus located in Gilman's parking
lot and a booth set up inside the stadium.
If you can't make it to the game, it will be livestreamed
on
Greyhound TV. Go Eagles!
