“Bibliophile,” a book-themed exhibition of ceramic sculptures, will be on display in the Tuttle Gallery from October 22 through November 30. Organized by Mary Cloonan, Curator in Residence at Baltimore Clayworks, the show celebrates books of all kinds and the emotions triggered by their words and stories. In addition to Cloonan's work, the exhibit features the creations of four nationally and internationally recognized artists: Novie Trump, Laurel Lukaszewski, Liz Vorlicek, and Elizabeth Kendall.
All are welcome to an opening reception Thursday, October 25, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to meet the artists. During the reception and throughout the exhibition, visitors are invited to drop off new and gently used books to benefit the Baltimore Reads Book Bank.
