Fall Sports Post Season Update

Congratulations to all McDonogh teams on an exciting season. Several teams are competing in fall tournaments and hoping to earn titles in the coming week. Don't miss the action. Come out and cheer for the Eagles!

Coming Up

Following the football team's thrilling win against Archbishop Spalding on Friday, November 1, the upcoming game against rival Gilman takes on additional meaning as the two undefeated teams will be competing for the MIAA "A" conference championship crown. The game will be played at McDonogh on Saturday, November 9 at 1:00 p.m.

The undefeated boys soccer team will take on St. Paul's for the 2013 A Conference Crown on Sunday, November 10 at Archbishop Spalding, under the lights. The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. and admission is $7.

Results

The boys cross country team came in second to Loyola in the MIAA championship meet at Oregon Ridge on Wednesday, November 6. Congratulations to the entire team and to Mikey S. who was the second runner to cross the finish line.

The field hockey team lost to Archbishop Spalding in the final seconds of overtime in the IAAM championship game on Sunday, November 3 at Goucher College. Congratulations to the team and their coaches on a well-played season.

The girls soccer team defeated Archbishop Spalding for the IAAM "A" Conference championship title on Saturday, November 2 at Anne Arundel Community College. Congratulations to the team and the coaches on an exciting season.

After advancing to the semi-finals, the girls volleyball team was defeated by St. Pauls's School for Girls. Congratulations to the team on a terrific season.

The girls cross country team came in second to John Carroll in the IAAM championship meet at Oregon Ridge on Wednesday, October 30. Great job to all the runners.
