Destination: Multicultural Festival, Tonight

Join us for "Passport to New Horizons" on Friday, May 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Edward St. John Student Center. With a new format and a new venue, this year's all-school Multicultural Festival promises to be more spectacular than ever!

Here is the itinerary:

  • Performances in Paterakis Dining Hall (6:15 to 7:15 p.m.) will include an acoustic guitarist and a variety of dances: Irish, Salsa, Step, Hip Hop, traditional Indian, and Bollywood. There will also be performances from our French exchange students and the Lower School Chinese language classes.

  • Interactive booths on the lower and upper levels of the student center will introduce explorers to the games, art, music, and greetings of different regions, including Spain, Latin America, Nigeria, India, China, France, and Israel. Tourists will be given a passport that will be stamped each time they complete an activity at the booths.

  • An international buffet, prepared by chefs within the McDonogh Family, will represent the cuisine of Ethiopia, China, Mexico, France, Nigeria, and Peru, and travelers will have the opportunity to vote for the "Best Chef" among participating families!

Plan to bring the entire family. It is sure to be a trip of a lifetime!
