Girls Lacrosse Team Going For National Record Today

Want to see history in the making? Today, the girls varsity lacrosse team hopes to win their 104th game in a row, when they take on St. Paul's School for Girls (SPSG), setting a national record for consecutive lacrosse victories. The team tied the record on Monday, April 14 when they beat No. 2 Marriotts Ridge with a score of 16-9.

The record of 103 straight victories was set by Loch Raven High School between 1973 and 1982 and was matched by Mount Hebron from 2001 to 2007. McDonogh’s winning streak began in April 2009. Read more about the streak in the Baltimore Sun.

Game time is 4:00 p.m. at McDonogh. Come and cheer our Eagles on to victory!
