On Wednesday, February 26, the McDonogh Parents Association (MPA) will welcome speaker Dr. David Ghoogasian, a nationally known speaker on brain research, technology and learning. Teaching and training through his own company, The Lyceum, Dr. Ghoogasian presents nationally and internationally for public, private, and independent schools, institutions of higher learning, conferences, and the corporate world. His presentations, classes, and training are consistently well received for their informative, practical, and applicable nature.
Dr. Ghoogasian’s talk, Technology and the Brain: The Good, the Bad, the Ugly and the (as yet) Unknown is geared toward Lower School parents and teachers, but all are welcome to attend. The event, sponsored by the MPA Parenting Education Committee, will take place in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre at 7:00 p.m. and is free of charge.
