Friday is Founder’s Day
The McDonogh community will gather at the John McDonogh Monument on
Friday, October 9 at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate Founder’s Day. During the
ceremony, in accordance with John McDonogh’s wishes, children will “plant and
water a few flowers” around his grave. Additionally, the school will pause to
remember those who have gone before us, particularly those members of the
McDonogh family who have passed during the previous year. Learn about
