Paterakis Hall will be transformed into a showcase of nations on Friday evening, February 27 as McDonogh celebrates its community’s rich traditions. The annual Multicultural Night celebration is one of the most spectacular all- school events of the year featuring student performances and foods from around the world.
From 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. members of the McDonogh community are invited to enjoy a delicious dinner of international cuisine. In addition to three different options in the servery, tasting portions of delectable dishes from across the globe will be available at either end of the Dining Hall.
At 7:00 p.m., the food stations will close and the performances, featuring K- 12 students celebrating various cultural traditions, will begin. This year, guests can look forward to a variety of performances including: “Count on Me” sung in Chinese by first grade students, an African dance by a group of fifth grade girls, a Tae Kwon Do demonstration by a first grade boy, and a salsa dance performed by the Upper School Salsa Club.
