Showing Tonight: Most Likely to Succeed

McDonogh School is thrilled to host a free screening of the Sundance- selected film Most Likely to Succeed on Thursday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Klein Lyceum on the first floor of the Edward St. John Student Center.

The acclaimed film offers an inspiring look at what students and teachers are capable of—if we have the vision and courage to transform our schools. The film’s primary message is that kids need and want to learn through work that is relevant, meaningful, and hands on. By examining the history of education in the United States, Most Likely to Succeed reveals the growing shortcomings of conventional education methods in today's innovative world. The film explores compelling new approaches that aim to transform learning as we know it. After seeing this film, the way you think about "school" will never be the same. View the film trailer here.

Join us after the screening for a meaningful discussion among educators, administrators, parents, and students about how great schools can re-define their purpose as they look to produce the future generation of thinkers and citizens.

The screening is open to the entire McDonogh community. Please RSVP by using this sign up form. If you have questions or would like more information about the screening, contact Kevin Costa, Director of Innovation and Learning, at kcosta@mcdonogh.org or 443- 544-7130.
