During the annual Club Fair, Sophia Koman '23 introduced the Baking for Charity Club. This new club is one of the 68 student-run offerings for upper schoolers this year.
Enthusiasm was high at the annual Upper School Club Fair on Monday, September 21 as students learned about some of the 68 club offerings, including 21 new opportunities. Associate Head of Upper School Nancy Love began the virtual gathering by encouraging students to get involved in the clubs that range from the arts and activism to education and recreation, and everything in between. During the virtual fair, a handful of club leaders made a pitch to encourage membership, and later, others shared details over email. While it’s unclear if clubs will meet in person or online, one thing is certain—joining a club is a great way to meet new people and to get involved in the McDonogh community and beyond.
