Student Soloists Shine in Vocal Residency Concert
Members of McDonogh’s Concert Choir, Gospel Choir, and Senior Singers participated in a master class with Dr. Glen Thomas Rideout '03 as part of McDonogh’s ninth-annual Vocal Residency. Students worked one-on-one with the visiting artist over three days and then joined Dr. Rideout in Tagart Chapel for a concert on Saturday, March 5. In addition to solos by master class participants, Dr. Rideout performed two individual pieces as well as the spiritual Standing in the Need of Prayer with the students. The audience was also treated to a solo by Jamie Balter ’11.
