Girls Teams Win Championship Crowns
The girls lacrosse team and the girls track and field teams wrapped up their seasons with IAAM championship wins on May 12 and 13. Congratulations to the players and coaches in every spring sport on an exciting season.
Girls Lacrosse: The girls lacrosse team took the IAAM crown back from St. Pauls in a thrilling game on Friday evening, May 12 at US Lacrosse in Hunt Valley. After a slow first half, the Eagles swooped in for a decisive 13-8 victory. It was the team's first title since 2019 and a record 11th A Conference crown. See all the details on the IAAM website.
Girls Track and Field: A light rain on the second day of the IAAM championship meet on Saturday, May 13 did not slow down the Eagles. The girls team finished well ahead of Archbishop Spalding, their closest competitor. The girls earned points in a variety of events including sprinting, hurdles, shot put, long jump, and pole vault.
