Grace Jackson '95 - Alumni - McDonogh School

Grace Jackson '95

What keeps you connected to the McDonogh alumni community and School?

Over the years, I’ve stayed connected to the alumni community and the school from afar as my family moved throughout the country. My relationships with other alumni have remained steadfast and our connections have deepened. We always manage to find one another and when we reunite, it’s as if no time has passed.

My husband and I returned to Maryland a couple of years ago to get back to our roots and give our sons the opportunity to experience McDonogh. While they are making their own McDonogh memories, I’ve enjoyed engaging with the McDonogh community and alumni both on and off campus.

What inspires you to volunteer your time so generously as an alumnus?

The commitment from the McDonogh community (faculty, staff, students, alumni, and families) to excellence and integrity inspires me to volunteer my time as an alumna. I enjoy giving back to McDonogh and having the opportunity to partake in the vibrancy of the School and experience the compassion and positive energy that McDonogh has to offer.

The connections within our inclusive McDonogh alumni community are vast and extraordinary. I hope other McDonogh alumni feel this and continue to return to their roots.
