McDonogh's College Counseling office aids students in researching viable educational choices, ultimately finding the best match between a student's talents and interests and those colleges which will offer appropriate intellectual and personal challenges.

The staff maintains close contact with college admissions offices around the country through membership in professional organizations, attendance at national and regional conferences, and tours of college campuses. Our counseling professionals have developed both a working knowledge of colleges and an understanding of the specific issues involved in the admissions processes of different institutions. Furthermore, three of our counselors are former college admission professionals.
