On the second day of each new school year, kindergartners and students in PK walk hand-in-hand with the senior class down the hill to Childs Memorial Terrace where the rest of the school community is gathered for Convocation. After words of welcome from student representatives from each division and the Head of School, the school year officially begins with the ringing of a traditional school bell.
