A Dress to Remember
For the past several months, McDonogh students have donated prom dresses for students in Baltimore through a partnership with the Magic Wand Project and Seventeen Magazine's DonateMyDress.org. Tyler J. ’15, who organized the drive called "A Dress to Remember," shared that over 70 prom dresses were collected and she hopes to continue this tradition of “giving back” in future years. Over spring break, Tyler, Kaiya C. ’15, Blair K. ’16, and Shannon C. ’16 distributed the dresses to high school girls across the Baltimore area. Thanks to the guidance of Upper School Librarian Jersey Frederick, this community partnership was a huge success.
