James and the Giant Peach in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre

Have you every wanted to see a giant peach grow? Would you like to escape with James and his insect friends and join their amazing adventures inside a magical peach? Well, here's your chance to do all this and more as you see Roald Dahl's hilarious story come to life. You may want to be James himself, cleverly getting The Peach out of danger; or you may choose to be the wise Old-Green-Grasshopper or the pessimistic Earthworm; or you may even want to be Spiker or Sponge, one of James' cruel aunts--both of whom come to a sticky end!

James' story begins while living with his horrible aunts, Sponge and Spiker, who mistreat and neglect him. One day a strange little Elf gives James a bit of magic in a bag, which he promises will change James' life forever. Oh no! James spills the bag, and the magic wriggles away into the roots of a peach tree, making the tree, its fruit, and the bugs eating the fruit, all VERY LARGE! But although he's lost the magic for himself, perhaps the giant peach will change his life anyway. And so begins this classic tale, with its loveable characters, silly songs and crazy adventures.
