Holiday Tournament Wins for Boys B-Ball
The boys' varsity basketball team enjoyed the 2002 holiday season by bringing home two trophies. First, they won the Hill School, PA invitational tournament on December 20 and 21. After defeating a Connecticut school team, the Eagles vanquished two from the Philadelphia area, Episcopal Academy and the Hill School, for the title. Michael P. '03 earned All-Tournament team honors.
Then, playing on December 27 and 28 in York, PA, the Eagles beat Mt. St. Joe at the buzzer to advance to the championship game against York Catholic's Fighting Irish. The Eagles prevailed. Jon B '04, Justin D. '04, and Michael P. '03 (MVP) were named to the All-Tournament team. Congratulations to the team, Coach MacMullan, and Coach Kriebel.
