Lanier Released
Production began several months ago, when McDonogh's art department asked Matt to create a film related to the school's history. Adoption is a major theme of Fessler’s work, so Matt decided to explore the adoption of the orphaned Lanier by McDonogh, his new home. He composed a script and rounded up a cast and crew, then began shooting at several locations around Maryland. Matt, an aspiring filmmaker, described production as “a fantastic learning experience and a warm-up session for bigger projects in the near future.”
