A Day of HOPE
Living with cancer spells HOPE. That's one of the lessons middle schoolers learned last Friday, October 17, when they participated in Cancer Education Day. After exploring the basic science of cancer and healthy habits that may prevent it, students engaged in a Relay for Life and other activities to honor and support those with the disease, including their sixth-grade English and reading teacher, Jeanne Mulligan.
