Baltimore Alumni Luncheon Draws a Crowd
On Wednesday, February 22, Baltimore-area alumni from the classes of 1942 to 2001 gathered for a luncheon at the Center Club hosted by the Alumni Office.
Guests listened to English teacher Wright Abbot reflect on his life at McDonogh, where he met his wife, has taught for 20 years, and is raising his family.
They also heard from Headmaster Bo Dixon. Bo spoke briefly about the "currents" running through the school at this time of year: the competitiveness that seniors are experiencing with college admissions, McDonogh's own busy admission season, and the critical recruitment process of hiring the best teachers and staff.
Upcoming alumni regional events include New York on March 30 and Washington, D.C. on May 24.
