Campus Blood Drive Succeeds
Eighty-three from the McDonogh community--parents, students, faculty, and staff--volunteered to give blood yesterday at the American Red Cross bloodmobile site in Alumni Memorial Field House. Among them were 35 first-time donors. In all, the American Red Cross was able to collect 64 units of blood.
The drive's campus organizer, Joyce Wood, called the response outstanding and thanked all who participated as volunteers or donors. Added Joyce, "The Red Cross staff commented that we had a 'very nice group of students, faculty and staff.'
