Carillon Recitalist is Gijsbert Kok of the Netherlands
Gijsbert Kok of the Netherlands is the featured carilloneur for this week's carillon recital, Friday, July 16 at 7 p.m. at Tagart Memorial Chapel. The hour-long concert is free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine.
Bring a picnic supper, a lawn chair or blanket, or listen from your parked car. Seating is also available in the chapel in case of rain.
McDonogh has one of only two 48-bell carillons in Maryland; the other is located in Frederick’s Baker Park. This is the school’s 26th annual carillon concert series. Upcoming concerts are listed below.
