Upcoming Diversity Forum
This announcement comes to you from D4M (Diversity for McDonogh), a grassroots organization now in its third year at McDonogh.
You are invited to attend a forum on the black experience in independent schools. The "Talking About the Black Experience" Forum will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2004 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Tagart Memorial Chapel.
The forum will focus on sharing experiences in hope of gaining perspectives on the the issues facing students of color. While there are generally a number of forums for educators, there are not many forums where groups of parents, students, alums and faculty/staff can come together and discuss their experiences.
Because other independent schools are invited, seating is limited. So, please RSVP by May 13 to cenelson@mcdonogh.org. Thank you.
