Concert Choir Leaves for Poland
On June 14, 55 students and 5 faculty members left McDonogh's campus to embark on an 11-day choir tour of Poland and the Czech Republic. The Concert Choir, under the direction of Philip Olsen, will perform concerts at churches and cathedrals throughout the two countries and take in the sights of classic cities like Prague and Krakow. The students and faculty will also enjoy the chance to see important historical sights such as Auschwitz, the former Nazi concentration camp. The trip promises to be artistically and culturally enriching, offering students the chance to perform in venues unlike any in America. Best of luck to Philip Olsen and the Concert Choir.
