Debaters Qualify for Nationals
For their overall performance, McDonogh debaters won the third-place Sweepstakes Award at the state tournament. Four teams qualified to participate based on their records in regular Baltimore Catholic Forensic League events.
Since last summer, the debaters have been researching and preparing arguments on the designated 2003-2004 debate topic, ocean policy. They argue it as a foreign policy issue.
