Delving into Diversity Issues
Seventeen middle and upper schoolers, Director of Diversity Education Sharon Howell, and Middle School dean Bobby Walker, Jr. explored diversity issues with peers and colleagues from 17 area independent schools at the annual Student Diversity Leadership Conference held November 15 at New Psalmist Baptist Church.
Said Chris N. '04, one of the conference facilitators, "The most meaningful part of the experience was being able to share with others what I have been able to accomplish as a student diversity practitioner here at McDonogh."
