Packets will be available the week of October 16 for all those who registered for McDonogh's Race for the Cure team. Please read the following instructions carefully.
- If you have a lower or middle school student who is registered for the race:
You do NOT need to come to McDonogh to pick up your packets. All lower and middle school students will have their race packets delivered to them on October 17, along with their parents' packets.
- If there are multiple family members with the same last name:
Those packets will automatically go home as well.
- If there are family or friends with different last names that you want sent home with a McDonogh student:
Send an e-mail to mcdraceforthecure@comcast.net and we can arrange for this.
- Upper schoolers, faculty, staff, and alumni may pick up their packets in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre lobby: Wednesday, October 18, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, and Thursday, October 19, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The day of the event, Saturday, October 21, there are two key times for showing your McDonogh team spirit:
- At 7 a.m., when members of the McDonogh Concert Choir will be performing during the warm-up and stage activities.
- At 10:15 a.m., when McDonogh will win an award at the ceremony on the main stage. This will be our one opportunity to get together as a team and cheer our success.
- Wear your McDonogh/Komen team t-shirts.
Our team is 918 strong, and we raised $30,727 as of Oct. 9. We should all be very proud of our school's support of this important event.
