German Exchange Students Arrive
After the German students introduced themselves at the October 8 Upper School assembly, exchange organizer Joachim Sprotte explained that the events of September 11 didn’t deter his group. “This [exchange] will go on,” Sprotte said.
Standing in front of his students, Sprotte said, "It was a joy to see bonding between these guys and their American partners. In the end, these bonds proved so strong that these people overcame their doubts and decided to come.”
When the introductions were over, the German students and their American exchange partners posed for digital pictures, which will become part of a Web site chronicling their adventures.
