Girls' Track is Four for Four
The girls’ track teams are four for four in 2004, after winning the IAAM outdoor championship Saturday, May 15, at Calvert Hall. With outstanding performances by the sprinters, relay teams, and field event competitors, the girls finished with 103 points to Bryn Mawr’s 86. This was their fourth major crown of the year. They won the dual-meet and league championships in both indoor and outdoor track.
Competing at the same time at Calvert Hall, the boys’ team finished fourth in the MIAA. Team members turned in winning performances in the sprints and high jump and placed in the high hurdles, individual hurdles, discus throw, shot put, and pole vault.
