Seminar on Bullying, Teasing, and Social Exclusion
The McDonogh School Health and Wellness Committee, in conjunction with the Institute for Family Education, will present a seminar on Bullying, Teasing, and Social Exclusion on Wednesday, November 8, at 9 a.m. in the Ceres M. Horn Theater. All parents are welcome to attend, but the program is geared to parents of lower schoolers.
These behaviors occur at virtually any age. This seminar will prepare you to deal with the issues and help your child cope. Topics include: warning signs, defining bullying, emotion regulation and resiliency, cooperation between teachers and parents, and structuring challenging situations.
