It's Raining Reading
Lower School students soaked up the benefits of their summer reading challenge, "It's Raining Reading," on September 26. Head of Lower School Noreen Lidston, clad in a fire hydrant costume, arrived on campus aboard a fire truck and squirted students with a fire hose. Much laughter and squealing accompanied the precipitation as students ran through the "rain" in their bathing suits.
Students in grades kindergarten through fourth grade read a combined total of 3,500 to earn this summer fun on a school day.
