Lower School Addition is Almost Ready!
The answer is a conditional "yes." The new addition, the first made to Elderkin Hall since it was built in 1964, is ready for the little feet that will occupy it. All five new classrooms are sparkling and bright, though workers are still adjusting, painting, cleaning, and fixing.
For teachers and the maintenance staff, the Labor Day weekend lived up to its literal name--a series of labor days. This group worked hard to prepare classrooms and hallways.
Still to be completed are the new Boston Technology Center and the multipurpose room. Lockers have yet to be installed in the classrooms.
Dedication of the addition will take place Wednesday, September 5 at 9:15 a.m. with the entire school present for the ceremony.
