Memorial Day Observed
As is custom at the annual ceremony, a student and the Alumni Association president placed a wreath in front of the memorial.
Headmaster Bo Dixon recalled the words of former ABC News correspondent and Vietnam veteran Jack Smith '63 who said, "Lest we forget, the names on this war memorial were all boys here once, real kids who played sports, walked and laughed, performed in plays, had aspirations...and grew into young men who gave their lives for this country."
