Mrs. Lidston Jumps Over the Moon
Head of Lower School Noreen Lidston promised lower schoolers that she'd jump over the moon if they read 3,000 books over the summer. In fact, they read 3,959 books among them. And Mrs. Lidston kept her promise, donning her cow costume and flying high over a happy yellow moon on the Ceres M. Horn Theatre stage.
Students booed when Mrs. Lidston leapt over the miniature moon that she carried on stage with her. But they sang, chanted, and cheered when she took to the sky. They watched her soar like Superman up, up, and over the moon.
