Polar Express Visits McDonogh
A forlorn train engineer, Mr. Steamer, can't believe the big shots want to rename his beloved engine the Polar Express. And he refuses to believe in the magic of the holiday season until his young friend, Molly, makes him see otherwise. Molly has help lifting Mr. Steamer's spirits. Festive music by the all the choirs, the instrumental ensembles, and the bands inspire him, too. Another holiday assembly, cleverly scripted and acted by Director of Religious Studies John Grega, delights the K-12 crowd.
