Ravens' Stover Addresses Captains, Coaches
Reflecting on his own personal growth through high school, college, and the professional ranks, Stover recalled the day he decided to play for others and not just for himself. Life got better, and more successes came his way.
In addition, the Pro Bowler shared with the students that no one had to tell him to work hard. "That's the difference between a leader and a follower," he said. "So lead by example on and off the field and your team will be successful. The lessons that you learn from being on a team will definitely help you later in life in whatever career path you take." After his talk, Stover fielded several questions from the crowd. Then Director of Athletics Mickey Deegan presented Stover with a McDonogh sweatshirt and named him an honorary Eagle coach!
