Parents of current McDonogh students may sign up for website accounts. Signing up for an account allows a parent to access the online directory, DASH, and your customized parent Personal Page.
Alumni can create an account in order to take advantage of McDonogh Connect or Pledgemail.
This year’s Holiday Bazaar, hosted by the Parents Association, will be held on Sunday, Dec 3 from 10-4 in the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Athletic Center. As always, there will be old-fashioned games with prizes for the kids, make-and-take craft stations, holiday greenery from Penn Grant, and a terrific assortment of vendors for holiday gift buying and giving.
For smaller children, the ever-popular Secret Gift Shop returns. In the Secret Gift Shop, kids can purchase inexpensive items for giving, away from the prying eyes of Mom and Dad! Each Secret Gift is wrapped before it leaves the shop.
Look for the Giving Tree again this year. It will be located outside of the pool entrance. Please consider bringing a new hat, pair of gloves, mittens or scarf to decorate the tree. All items collected will be distributed to Baltimore’s homeless.
McDonogh School merchandise will be available for purchase in the McDonogh Country Store. Featured items will include beach towels, tote bags, a charm bracelet and a solid wood Windsor chair embellished with the McDonogh insignia.
And don’t forget to bring your appetite! G & G Catering will be providing delicious sandwiches, salads, and other lunch fare, and the bake table will be piled high with treats to take home for dessert. So be sure to stop by!
Of course, the McDonogh Bazaar relies on a huge number of parent and responsible student volunteers for its success. Volunteer opportunities are plentiful and diverse! If you can spare a couple of hours to help set up the event, work at the event or clean up afterward, please contact Lauren Madsen at laurenmadsen@verizon.net.
Whether you come for the day or stop by for an hour, plan on being a part of this longstanding McDonogh tradition!
