Who Wants to See A Million?

The purpose of the challenge to collect a million pennies is three-fold:

  • to visualize and try to grasp the magnitude of one million
  • to unite the entire school in a common goal
  • and to raise money for a cause (some students will write essays on where the money should go).
  • On the first day of school, many students took the following survey, and two days later, the Middle School had more than 10,000 pennies. Look for penny bottles at sporting events and around campus and help us make cents of one million!
