Wrestlers Win MIAA Tournament
The varsity wrestling team won its third consecutive MIAA tournament title on February 9 at Mount St. Joseph School. Wrestlers in 10 of 14 weight classes were champions, giving the Eagles a comfortable win over runner-up Mount St. Joseph. Digital Sports chronicles the meet.
Senior Josh F. claimed his fourth title, making him one of only three wrestlers to ever win four MIAA championships. Curtis H. ‘09 won his third league title; Nick S. ’10 and Alex P. ’08 won their second; and Albert W. ‘09, Kramer W. ‘08, and Doug S. ‘08 won for the first time.
